Hotel am Postbahnhof, Berlin
Be United ist das gestalterische Leitmotiv des MEININGER Hotels am Postbahnhof. Übersetzt wird dieses Thema durch das Bild einer langen, durch alle öffentlichen Bereiche geführten Tafel: ein Tisch, an dem alle Platz nehmen. Er verbindet Bar, Restaurant und Frühstücksraum zu einem zusammenhängenden, kommunikativen Raumgefüge und wird zum zentralen sozialen Element des Hotels.
Im Rahmen der Planung wurden die Leistungsphasen 1–7 übernommen. Der Entwurf umfasst den gesamten Innenausbau, die räumliche Strukturierung sowie das vollständige Möbeldesign und schafft eine klare, identitätsstiftende Gestaltung, die Gemeinschaft und Offenheit räumlich erlebbar macht.
Be United is the central design concept of the MEININGER Hotel at Postbahnhof. The idea is translated into the image of a long table running through all public areas—a shared place where everyone is invited to gather. Extending through the bar, restaurant, and breakfast area, the table becomes the spatial and social backbone of the hotel, fostering interaction and a sense of community.
The project scope covered design phases 1–7, including the complete interior fit-out, spatial structuring, and the design of all custom furniture. The resulting concept creates a clear and cohesive identity that makes openness and togetherness a tangible spatial experience.
